Business is a fast-flowing stream. Unfortunately, when leaders hastily rush though decisions, important details get missed, people get left out, and customers are impacted.

Try out these 4 practices to help get it right:

  1. Keep your undivided attention on the task at hand. No interruptions. No distractions.
  2. Run your communication plan by one person at every key level in the organization before launching a product or project.
  3. Wait 24 hours before you hit send on any big important email and before you hit send – read it again.
  4. Ask a small segment your target audience for feedback at the beginning and near the end of any project.
